Welcome to the weekly EPL tipping blog from Bet With Aus bringing you free football tips for the EPL.
Week 26 of the English Premier League features a North London derby that invariably means plenty of goals. And, as if Arsenal fans didn’t dislike Adebayor enough already, he returns to the Emirates with their arch rivals. Arsenal vs Tottenham is just one of the games included in our selection of football tips for you to take a look at.
Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur – Football Tips
Arsenal’s home record this season isn’t too bad at all, but they have struggled when playing the top sides, losing 0-2 to Liverpool and, more recently, 1-2 against United. They have lost just once at home in their last 11 games, winning 7-1 against a poor Blackburn side in their last fixture at the Emirates. Tottenham have the third best away record in the league and come to the Emirates having demolished Newcastle 5-0 at White Hart Lane in their last EPL fixture. They have, however, only managed to win one of their last five away league games and struggled to a 0-0 draw with Stevenage in the FA Cup at the weekend.
Despite scoring an average of two goals per game at the Emirates this season, albeit helped by the 7-1 victory over Blackburn, only 50% of Arsenal’s home games have seen over 2.5 goals, although their last two home fixtures have seen this occur. In fact, five of their last six games home and away have contained 3 or more goals, highlighting their attacking threat and defensive frailties simultaneously. Tottenham have seen 66.7% of their away games feature over 2.5 goals, including all three of their games away to sides in the top 6. Past meetings between the sides at the Emirates have seen plenty of goals, with their last seven games averaging 4 goals per game, with six of them containing over 2.5 goals.

Manchester City vs Blackburn Rovers – Football Tips
Everyone knows that Man City are awesome at home, winning all 12 of their games, scoring 37 and conceding just six. Only Tottenham came close to beating them, while Arsenal deserved a point from their fixture at the Etihad. Not sure what else to say, they are brilliant at home, they’ve scored three goals in each of their last four home games and conceded two, both against Spurs. Blackburn, on the other hand, have the third worst away record in the league, conceding 30 goals in their 12 away fixtures and managing just one victory, strangely against Manchester United. It was an anomaly, it will not happen in this game; I actually think another 7-1 is more likely!
As we’ve mentioned, goals are free flowing for City when at home, only Arsenal and Everton have prevented them from scoring three or more. Their home games have seen over 2.5 goals in 83.3% of games, including eight of the last nine. They face a Blackburn side who concede an average of 2.5 goals away from home and have not kept a clean sheet all season. Away to sides in the top six, Rovers have conceded an average of 4 goals per game. Manchester City will win this, of that I have little doubt, but there is no value there. Instead, as I’m sure you’ve guessed by now, we look to the goals market.
Our tip for this game is over 3.5 goals at $1.95 with Sportingbet which I feel represents great value.
QPR vs Fulham – Football Tips
QPR have been poor at this home season, so far managing only 10 points from the 36 available. They have beaten Chelsea at Loftus Road this season, but have managed just one other victory all season. Their current run of form reads badly, one win from seven games, five of which ended in defeat. Fulham have the worst away record in the division, winning just one game all year – a 0-2 win over Wigan back at the end of October. Aside from this victory they’ve registered five draws and six defeats, collecting just four points from their last seven games.
QPR home games tend to mean both sides will score; 66% of their home games this year have resulted with both teams finding the net, including each of their last four home games. And in each of these last four home games there has been over 2.5 goals, despite only 50% of their home games resulting in over 2.5 goals this year. We’re seeing a reversal in the trend. Fulham don’t tend to score too many goals away from home, actually no side in the division has scored less away goals than the seven that Fulham have managed. However, it should be noted that three of these seven goals have come in their last four away games. With Dempsey on form, and new signing Pogrebnyak getting on the scoresheet in his first game last weekend – in a game where Fulham could have scored six – I see the West Londoners finding the net here against a porous QPR defense.

Norwich City vs Manchester United – Football Tips
Norwich have been excellent this year, they’ve battled hard whilst also playing some impressive counter-attacking football. Their home form has been strong, losing just three times, to Arsenal, Tottenham and West Brom, who actually have the 4th best away record in the division. They have lost just once in their last six home games. Manchester United have the best away record in the league, picking up 27 of the 36 points available having lost just once on their travels all season. They have won six of their last eight, with their last away game featuring an awesome comeback at Stamford Bridge to draw 3-3.
Norwich, as mentioned, have a strong home record but they have struggled to keep clean sheets. Of the 12 teams to visit Carrow Road, only Chelsea and Bolton have failed to score. When you consider their four home games against sides in the top 6, they have conceded twice on three occasions. Manchester United have scored two or more goals in four of their last five away games, including games away to Arsenal and Chelsea. Having seen them in clinical form away to Ajax recently, and with Rooney in the form he’s in, I can see them scoring more than once here.
Our tip for this one is Manchester United to score over 1.5 goals @ 1.53 with Bet365
West Bromwich Albion vs Sunderland – Football Tips
West Brom have a terrible home record, it’s the joint worst in the division and has seen them pick up eight points from 12 games, scoring just nine goals in the process – no side has scored fewer. Sunderland are very much a side on the up, winning three of their last four matches on the road and scoring eight goals – just one less than West Brom have managed all season at home.
West Brom, following their 1-5 demolition of Wolves, will be looking to this game as the one where they turn around their home form. They haven’t won in six homes games, however, and may return to old ways. Their only two victories at The Hawthorns have come against Bolton and Wolves, both of whom occupy relegation places. Sunderland’s away form is not fantastic but improves when you consider games against sides in the bottom half. It is difficult to apply their away form this season to this game, as since Martin O’Neill has taken over they are a different side altogether and I fully expect them to get at least a point from this game.
