This weeks sports bet once again focuses on the British and European football leagues. With not much else worthwhile to bet on we figured it was best to continue with something we have a bit of knowledge of.

In the coming weeks we’ll get back to variety in our multibet’s with the return of the NRL, AFL and Super 15 Rugby.

This weeks sports bet was broken down into the following leagues, and the mulitbet has a payout of $54.28/$1.

Sports Bet of the Week

English Premier League

For the first 2 legs of our sports bet we’ve taken two matches from this weeks English Premier League that we thought we could get some good value out of. First up we’ve taken Arsenal to beat Sunderland away from home following last weekends 7-1 victory. They aren’t usually the best away from home but Sunderland played 120 minutes midweek and will likely not have recovered in time for this one.

The other match we’ve gone for is Fulham v Stoke. For this one we’ve gone the under 2.5 goals option which, based on form, is good value. Stoke tend to shut up shop away from home with just 2 goals scored in their last 2 away games combined. They were against Liverpool and Manchester United.

Spanish La Liga

We’ve gone back to staples for this one, Real Madrid to score over 2.5 goals against Levante playing at home. The other leg, Barcelona to beat Osasuna with good odds of $1.36 despite being away from home.

Dutch Leagues

We’ve taken 2 legs from the Eredivise this week and 1 from the Eerste Divisie. PSV and Twente v De Graafschap and Heracles respectively we’ve taken the over 2.5 goals option. We’ve taken the same option in the Eerste Divisie with the Den Bosch v FC Oss match.

French Ligue 1

In the French Ligue 1 we’ve taken one match where both sides seem to be allergic to goals. We’ve gone for the under 2.5 goals option in the Toulouse v St Etienne match.

German Bundesliga

We’ve stayed away from outrights this week after Bayern let us down last week. However, we’ve stuck by Bayern as they play at home this week, going for the over 2.5 goals option in their match against Kasiserslautern.

Italian Serie A

Last but not least we’ve also taken a leg in the Serie A this week. In a league that has an aversion for goals we thought it appropriate to take an under 2.5 goals option on one of the matches. So we have gone for the Atalanta v Lecce match this week.
