Sports Bet of the Week – Steve’s Multibet 18 February 2012

This weeks sports bet has a different feel to it with the return of the AFL and the NRL Charity Shield match between the Dragons and Rabbitohs.

We’ve gone for 8 legs this week and a total payout of $29.21/1. In addition to the Local legs, we’ve also taken a leg in this weekends FA Cup 5th Round, courtesy of our friends at Bet With Aus.

AFL – NAB Cup 2012

Our first leg sees West Coast up against Essendon in the NAB Cup preseason competition. We’ve taken West Coast to win this match at $1.45 which is quite good value.

NRL – Charity Shield

Our second leg comes courtesy of the Charity Shied between the Dragons and the Rabbitohs. Despite the changes the Dragons have endured over the summer, they head into this one as favourites. I fancy an upset here, well at least in the bookies eyes. We’ve taken the Rabbitohs with 12.5 on the line at $1.34 here.

English FA Cup

The next leg of our sports bet comes from this prestigious English Cup, and comes courtesy of our friends at Bet With Aus. They’ve suggested some football tips for us here, and we’ve taken Stevenage v Tottenham to go over 2.5 goals in this multibet.

Dutch Leagues

We’ve once again taken 1 leg from each of the top two Dutch leagues due to the success we’ve had in these recently. We’ve taken the over 2.5 option in both the Ajax v NEC Nimengen, Eredivisie, and AGOVV Apeldoom v Go Ahead Eagles, Eerste Divisie. Both legs at $1.50.

French Ligue 1

The next leg of our sports bet is Nancy v Toulouse. We’ve gone the under 2.5 option in this one due to Ligue 1′s aversion to goal scoring at $1.50.

Spanish La Liga

Last up in this weeks multibet we’ve taken two legs from La Liga and you can pretty much guess what they are. Both Barcelona and Real Madrid are at home this week, where they score goals for fun. We’ve taken Barcelona over 2.5 goals, and Real Madrid over 3.5 goals against Valencia and Racing Santander respectively.

So there you have it, as always we suggest taking each leg individually or lowering the odds by going for a slightly less risky option in each match.

Anyway, feel free to let us know how you go with any of your own multibets this week. Good luck!
