EPL Football Tips with Bet With Aus

Everton v Newcastle United – EPL Football Tips

Everton have had a brilliant season and will look to finish on a high to ensure they finish above their arch rivals Liverpool. They are unbeaten in 8 EPL fixtures and have won their last three home games in a row. Their last home game was an impressive 4-0 thumping of Fulham which saw Tim Cahill back amongst the goals.

Newcastle have also had a very good season and find themselves still in with a shout of Champions League qualification on the final day of the season. They have won six of their last 8 EPL fixtures and have won three of their last four away games including their last, which ended in a 0-2 victory over Chelsea.

The first of my football tips is Newcastle +0.5 (double chance) @ $1.62 with Sportingbet

Manchester City v QPR - EPL Football Tips

Manchester City have been great to watch this season, Aguero and Silva being the particular highlights. They are in pole position to snatch the EPL title away from United and I fully expect them to do so. They’ve won their last five games in a row, keeping a clean sheet in four of them. They have only failed to win one home game all season, the last of which was the, potentially title deciding, 1-0 win over Manchester United.

QPR would have hoped to have secured their EPL status by now, but they have had a disappointing season in my view. Rangers have made a late rally to stay in the EPL by winning their last five home games in a row, including beating Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool. They have, however, lost their last six away games in a row and haven’t won an away game in 12 attempts.

My tip for this game is Sergio Aguero – First Goalscorer @ 3.75 with Bet365 where you will get paid out 1/3 odds if Aguero does not score first but does score in the match.

Stoke City v Bolton Wanderers - EPL Football Tips

Stoke, given their Europa league exerts, will quite possibly be happy that they weren’t dragged into a relegation battle. Their end of season form is pretty poor, however, with just one win in their last 10 EPL fixtures and none of the last five. They have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 10 matches and have won once in four home games.

Bolton have been significant relegation candidates all season long after they started the season with eight defeats in their first 10 games. Bolton have won just one of their last seven games and it was followed by their previous away game – a 2-2 draw at Sunderland.. Bolton will be up for this, big time.

My tip for this game is for both teams to score @ $1.60 with Sportingbet

Twitter - EPL Football Tips

Sunderland v Manchester United - EPL Football Tips

Sunderland had a disappointing start to the season under Steve Bruce but improved after the appointment of Martin O’Neill. They are, however, on a poor run of form winning just two of their last 13 games home and away, and not one of their last seven games – 4 of which have seen the Black Cats fail to score.

Manchester United are in a bit of a surprise situation give the state of play after City lost 1-0 to Arsenal a month ago. The champions have won only two of their last five matches, a run which includes the all important 1-0 loss to Manchester City. United have lost their last two away games in a row, failing to score in each of them.

My tip for this game is for there to be under 2.5 goals @ $2.15 with Sportingbet.

Tottenham Hotspur v Fulham - EPL Football Tips

Tottenham began the season on fire and for a long time looked like genuine title contenders, but in the end the lack of quality in depth within the squad has taken it’s toll and they now face a battler to qualify for next year’s Champs League. Spurs have won just three of their last 12 EPL fixtures but are unbeaten in their last three.

Fulham will be pleased with their top half finish but they can still make it into the top 7  which would be the club’s highest ever finish in the EPL, so they will want to win this. They go into this game with the 6th best form in the league over the last 8 games, which is better than Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham. They have managed to win five of their last seven including two of their last three away.

My tip for this game is Rafael Van Der Vaart to score at anytime @ $2.05 with Sportingbet.

West Bromwich Albion v Arsenal - EPL Football Tips

West Brom have had a good season and can be proud of some of the football they have played to get to their current 10th place and they will want to hold on to a top half finish. They are in good form with just one defeat in their last 6 games, including three wins and four clean sheets. This will be Roy Hodgson’s last game in charge before he takes over as England manager and he, and the players, will want to go out on a high.

Arsenal have had a ridiculously turbulent season, from the 8-2 defeat at Old Trafford to 5-2 victory over Spurs at the Emirates. A little under a month ago they looked like they had sewn up third place and automatic qualification for next year’s Champs League, but no wins in their last four EPL fixtures have left the club with a nervous last day of the season. They look shapeless without Arteta and don’t always perform under pressure.

The last of my football tips is HT Result: West Brom +0.5 (double chance) @ $1.66 with Bet365.

Thanks for reading over the past few months, it’s been a great season in the EPL, full of shock results and quality football. Good luck with the punt during the off season and I’ll be back for the start of next year’s EPL action.

Stan Jackson.

Football Tips with Bet With Aus – EPL Week 37

Welcome to the weekly EPL tips blog from Bet With Aus, bringing you free football tips for the EPL.

The title race is the closest it has been for years after Man City registered a 1-0 victory in the Manchester Derby earlier this week. The race for Champions League places is also one of the closest for years while the relegation zone is as cluttered as ever. This weekend I’ll be looking to tip for Arsenal v Norwich, Newcastle v Man City, Wolves v Everton and Manchester United v Swansea. As always, do make sure to check up on team selections prior to betting so there are no nasty surprises. Aside from that, please do give us any feedback in the comments section at the bottom. EPL Football Tips with Bet With Aus

Arsenal v Norwich City – EPL Football Tips

Just a few games ago it looked like Arsenal had all but secured 3rd place and, with it, automatic qualification for next season’s Champions League. Defeat at home to Wigan, followed by draws with Chelsea and Stoke, however, has left the Gunners just one point ahead of Tottenham and Newcastle. The Gunners made all the early running at Stoke only to, almost inevitably, go behind to a Peter Crouch goal. Van Persie leveled the scoring but there was to be no comeback this time from Wenger’s men. Norwich have been brilliant this season, their first in the EPL since the 04/05 campaign. Finishing in the top half is only a feint possibility now but they have performed well enough throughout the season to make sure they didn’t finish it being involved in a relegation scrap. They have won just one of their last six matches and have now lost three on the bounce after the 0-3 defeat to Liverpool last weekend.

Arsenal are winless in their last three games, managing to find the net just twice. Injuries are taking their toll on the Gunners’ squad as Walcott and Arteta now find themselves on the treatment table. They have managed just 1 point from their last two home games after the surprise 1-2 defeat to Wigan and 0-0 draw with Chelsea. They face a Norwich side who have lost four of their last five away games, but only once by more than one goal. The Canaries may be tiring at the end of a long season, but they are far from giving up and will try to make life difficult for an Arsenal side who have been looking rather toothless of late in attack. Norwich have lost only two away games by more than two goals so I don’t expect this to be a walkover for the Gunners.

The first of my football tips is Norwich +2.5 @ $1.6 with Bet365

Newcastle United v Manchester City – EPL Football Tips

Newcastle are having a season they can have only dreamt of. After the loss of Carroll, Nolan, Barton and Enrique there were a number tipping Newcastle as an outside bet for relegation, but I take my hat off to Alan Pardew who has done an excellent job. They are one point off 3rd placed Arsenal after their 0-2 win against Chelsea in the week, in which Papiss Cisse scored a contender for goal of the season. Should Newcastle win Champions League qualification then, in my mind, there is no doubt that Alan Pardew should be manager of the year. Manchester City are now favourites for the title after their 1-0 triumph in the Manchester Derby, but they face what is quite possibly the toughest game possible at this point in time.

Newcastle have lost just twice at home all season, but their last home defeat was way back on December 21st. Since then, the Magpies have gone nine games without defeat and are currently on a four game winning streak at St James’ Park – with a clean sheet in each of them. They are the league’s form side and so I find the odds for them ($5) to win almost inexplicable. Manchester City have lost five away games this season but do still have the second best away defensive record in the league. They have won their last two away games in a row, including a 1-6 thumping of Norwich City that saw Carlos Tevez score a hat-trick. Both teams are desperate for the points so I will play safer than going for the outright Newcastle win, but I cannot ignore the bias towards City in the odds.

My tip for this game is Newcastle +0.75 @ 2.125 with Bet365

Twitter - EPL Football Tips

Wolverhampton v Everton – EPL Football Tips

Wolves will be playing their football in the Championship next season after a 0-2 defeat to Man City left them with no chance of escaping the drop. They found themselves 3-0 down away to Swansea in 15 minutes last weekend, but fought back to earn a point in a 4-4 thriller. Despite this, they have been poor this season and are likely to lose a number of their better players in the summer. Everton have the fifth best form in the EPL after going on a run of seven games without defeat including a 4-4 draw at Old Trafford. As many predicted, their last game at Stoke ended in a draw and so they will be looking for three points at Molineux in order to extend their lead over rivals Liverpool in the EPL.

Wolves are on a torrid run, losing their last nine home games in a row, including the 1-5 derby defeat to West Brom that sealed the departure of Mick McCarthy back in February. Things never improved, and the woeful running of the club regarding employing a new manager clearly took its toll on the players as they haven’t won a game since then. Everton are in good form but have won just once in their last four away games despite averaging over two goals per game. Jelavic has been brilliant and our own Tim Cahill finally got himself on the scoresheet in the recent 4-0 win over Fulham.

My tip for this one is Everton -0.75 @ $1.875 with Bet365

Manchester United v Swansea City – EPL Football Tips

After the 2-0 victory over QPR, United looked to have pulled off a great comeback to be in pole position for the EPL title. This result, however, was followed by defeat to Wigan, in a game which United didn’t really turn up for. They looked to be back on track with victory over Villa, but the 4-4 draw with Everton and the defeat to Man City have left the Champions with it all to do now. This could be United’s first trophyless season since the 04/05 season. Swansea have been impressive in their debut EPL season, earning plaudits from away fans for their brand of football. Like Norwich, they have a chance of a top half finish and will look to end the season strongly, although recent results seem to suggest that they may have run out of steam. They’ve won just one of their last seven EPL fixtures and let a three goal lead slip at home to Wolves last week.

United need the points more than Swansea do, a lot more. They will also be looking to erase as much of the goal difference deficit as they can and I fully expect them to throw everything at Swansea this weekend. Their results against sides in and around Swansea are flawless P6 W6 F12 A0. Swansea have failed to find the net in five of their seven EPL fixtures away to sides in the top 8, although they may take solace from the fact that Everton managed to score 4 past the Champions in their last game at Old Trafford. I’m relying on United scoring plenty here, but I feel they have little choice other than to go for exactly that.

The last of my football tips is for there to be over 3.5 goals at $2.05 with Sportingbet.

EPL Football Tips with Bet With Aus

Arsenal v Chelsea – EPL Football Tips

Arsenal are doing all that they can this season to cast doubt on their actually ability at the top level. Victory over Wigan in Tuesday morning’s game would have all but guaranteed the North London side automatic Champions League qualification. As it went, Wigan took all three points and how Arsenal face a touch challenge entertaining an improved Chelsea side. Roberto Di Matteo has done well since he took over, firstly by including Lampard and Drogba more often than Villas Boas ever did. Chelsea will go into the game having beaten Spurs 5-1 at Wembley to reach the FA Cup final and will be on a high after beating Barcelona midweek. It remains to be seen whether the second leg will act as a distraction during this London derby for Chelsea who may to look to rest a few players in preparation for their trip to the Nou Camp.

Since the days of Mourinho at the Bridge, Arsenal have not faired too well against Chelsea, at home or away from home. This may be changing, however, as this fixture last season saw Arsenal run out comfortable 3-1 winners, with the 3-5 victory at Stamford Bridge adding weight to this theory. The fact remains that while both of these sides have excellent ability going forward, defensively they are not too strong against the top sides. Arsenal have seven home clean sheets this season, only one of which has come against a top 6 side. Chelsea haven’t been prolific in their away games this season but have failed to score at the Emirates Stadium in only one of their six visits.

As such, the first of my football tips is Both Teams to Score at $1.57 with Sportingbet.

Newcastle United v Stoke City – EPL Football Tips

Newcastle fans, for the first time in a number of years, can be genuinely proud of their team’s performance this season. They sit in 5th position and are level on points with fourth placed Spurs, each with 5 games to play. Newcastle’s home form has been good and they will be going all out to qualify for the Champions League, a competition which they last competed in 10 years ago. The Magpies are on a run of five straight victories, four of which have come with a clean sheet, with in-form striker Papiss Cisse scoring in each of these. Stoke, as ever, have been solid this season without ever hitting the heights. Tony Pulis maintains that avoiding relegation is their number one goal and, in all fairness, this was their first year in the Europa League, so they have had a lot to contend with. They are not too far away from a top half finish and so that will be their motivation for the remainder of the season.

Newcastle are on a fantastic run of form, with Cisse scoring becoming a forgone conclusion. They have victories in a row since defeat at Arsenal, and with Champions League football in their sights they will be more motivated than ever. Their last three home fixtures have been won-to-nil and they haven’t lost a game at St. James’ Park since the 21st of December, a run of 8 games. Stoke haven’t been great away from home, although nobody really expected them to be; they sent up for 3 points at home and get what they can from away fixtures. Stoke haven’t won an away game in seven attempts, losing four of these and have gone without an away clean sheet since the 0-0 draw with Liverpool back in mid-January.

My tip for this game is Newcastle -0.75 @ $1.925 with Bet365.

Twitter - EPL Football Tips

QPR v Tottenham Hotspur – EPL Football Tips

QPR are hovering above the relegation zone, currently just two points above Bolton who have two games in hand, so their situation could be described as precarious. They were looking doomed with given their tough run in, but victories over Liverpool and Arsenal have proven that they maybe they do have the stomach for the fight. Spurs were flying in the first half of the season but one win in their last eight fixtures has left them in a fight for Champions League qualification. Maybe the manager’s focus has been swayed by constant conjecture strongly linking him with the vacant England manager’s role.

QPR, as mentioned, were looking likely candidates for the drop after a run of one win in nine home fixtures. An incredible comeback from 0-2 down at home to Liverpool was followed by a well deserved 2-1 victory over Arsenal. Next came a comfortable 3-0 win over Swansea, but the results have been interspersed with five straight away defeats leaving them in their current predicament. Spurs haven’t won an away game in seven attempts and have failed to score in their last three outings, however, QPr have just three clean sheets from 17 home fixtures leading me to believe that Spurs will find the net. Rangers have failed tos core in just one of their last nine home fixtures and I expect this trend to continue as they fight for survival.

My tip for this match is for both teams to score at $1.60 with Sportingbet

Manchester United v Everton – EPL Football Tips

Manchester United are big favourites to retain their EPL crown and go into this game with Everton knowing that victory will set up a title celebration at the home of their rivals Man City in their next fixture. A surprise 1-0 defeat to Wigan last week ended a run of 8 straight victories and 12 without loss. They responded well with a 4-0 drubbing of Aston Villa with Rooney the star once again. Everton have been brilliant this season when you consider the budget they have to work with. Much of the credit should go to David Moyes who has consistently over-achieved with the Everton squads he has had to work with. They will need to put FA Cup semi final defeat behind them if they’re to stand any chance in this one.

Man United are predictable, meandering their way through the season, picking up the necessary points to stay in contention only to turn on the after-burners in the final 10-15 games. They have won 12 of their last 14 games, including all of their last seven – the last four of which have been to nil. Everton have won just one away fixture in seven attempts and haven’t won a league game at Old Trafford since the first season of the EPL, back in 1992! They have lost on their last five visits to the ‘Theatre of Dreams’, managing to score just once 10. I think Everton will struggle, their small squad will be tired and somewhat demoralised by the FA Cup defeat to Liverpool.

The last of my football tips is Man United -1.25 @ $1.70 with Bet365.

EPL Football Tips with Bet With Aus

Norwich City v Manchester City – EPL Football Tips

Norwich have enjoyed a fantastic first season back in the EPL and currently find themselves in 10th position and 14 points clear of safety. In truth, they have been safe from relegation for some time now but what will be most pleasing for boss Paul Lambert will be the team’s performances, particularly in their impressive 1-2 victory away to Spurs last weekend. They weren’t on the best run of form but that win will give them confidence going into this game. Bookies are giving Man City a 20% chance of winning the title, but they will have to begin their run-in with a win here at Carrow Road in order to keep their hopes alive. City were on a run of three games without victory prior to the 4-0 midweek win over West Brom, in which Carlos Tevez scored his first goal since May 11th, and anything but a win here will all but end their title chances.

Norwich have failed to score in only three of their home games all season and have certainly caught the eye with their counter-attacking football, scoring five more home goals than Liverpool and just one less than Newcastle United. Their problem lies with preventing goals, managing to do so in just 12.5% of their 16 home fixtures – in fact, Norwich haven’t kept a clean sheet in 9 games including each of their last four home EPL fixtures. City have struggled away from home this season and have won just one of their last five away EPL fixtures but they will be really up for this game and will go all out for three points, possibly leaving themselves open to the Norwich counter-attack. 75% of Norwich home games and 50% of City away games have seen both sides scoring and I believe that we will see that happening here.

The first of my football tips is for Both Sides to Score @ $1.67 with Sportingbet.

Sunderland v Wolverhampton Wanderers – EPL Football Tips

Given Sunderland’s start to the season they will, or at least should, be happy with their league position. They have avoided relegation, which would have been objective number one when O’Neill took over, and they have something to build on for next season, although they look like losing Bendtner and Sessegnon in the Summer. They are currently three games without victory but are a much stronger proposition at home and face a Wolves side who, in recent games, appear to have given up. Terry Connor’s men have now lost seven games in a row and will be without Bassong for this game as he starts a suspension for his sending off against Arsenal during their 0-3 midweek defeat to the Gunners.

Sunderland’s home form is top-half stuff; they have lost just once in 9 home EPL fixtures since O’Neill took over and I only see them extending that run at the weekend. Wolves are going down to The Championship; they have the worst home and away records in the EPL – in fact, they’ve managed 22 points all season while Sunderland have 26 points from just their home games. Sunderland have won five of their last seven home games while Wolves have lost their 3 away fixtures in a row and have just one away win in 15 attempts.

My tip for this game is Sunderland -0.75 @ $1.6 with Bet365

West Bromwich Albion v QPR – EPL Football Tips

West Brom achieved safety some time ago in all honesty, but they would have hoped to have built upon last season and maybe had one eye on Europe at the beginning of the season. Their impressive away form hasn’t been matched by their home form which has seen just five wins in 16 attempts, although it should be noted that they have won three of their last four home EPL fixtures. QPR sit two points above the relegation zone with five games to play, which isn’t a disaster but, given the players they have brought in, I’m sure they would have hoped for more. They’ve won their last three home games in a row but have simultaneously lost their last four away games in a row. It is this inconsistency that will prevent them from breaking into the top half of the table.

I’m looking at the goals market for this game since I can’t call a winner as each team has varying degrees of motivation. Both teams leak goals, they have done all season, but they also have players who are more than capable of finding of the net, particularly if Cisse can manage to stay on the pitch! 56% of both WBA home games and QPR away games have seen over 2.5 goals. This includes four of West Brom’s last five home fixtures and four of QPR’s last five away fixtures.

My tip for this one is Over 2.5 goals @ $1.83 with Sportingbet.

Twitter - EPL Football Tips

Manchester United v Aston Villa – EPL Football Tips

The title was all but sewn up for United after the weekend’s results, but a shock defeat at Wigan and with the champions still to visit Man City, the title race has been  re-opened. Let’s not jump to conclusions, United are still five points clear, but with defeat at the Etihad a real possibility this race is certainly not over. Wigan deserved the 3 points against United but it’s rare that the Red Devils slip up twice in a row and I fully expect them to bounce back against Villa. The Villains have won just one of their last 10 games in the EPL, and have managed just 3 points from their last five away games. They are not guaranteed of EPL safety just yet and they don’t have the easiest of run-ins, so may focus on the more winnable games once this fixture is out of the way.

Defeat at Wigan ended a run of nine straight wins for United; they are still on a run of six home wins in a row and will be looking to make that seven at the weekend. During these six home games, United have been ahead at half-time on five occasions and I think they will be quick out of the traps again against a Villa side who have gone in behind at half-time in three of their last five visits to Old Trafford.. This season, Villa have been fairly resilient in the first half of games, going in behind in only five of their 16 away EPL fixtures, but as I say, I think they will be concentrating on picking up points elsewhere and United will be desperate to get off to a good start.

My tip for this one is United at half-time @ $1.57 with Sportingbet.

Arsenal v Wigan Athletic – EPL Football Tips

Despite a miserable start to the season, Arsenal find themselves in third spot after a run of 9 wins in 10 games, the only hiccup coming in a 2-1 loss at QPR where the Gunners never really turned up. Since then they have beaten Man City 1-0 and the woeful Wolves 0-3 to make it four clean sheets and 12 points in five games. Victory over Wigan will all but guarantee third place for Arsene Wenger’s men. Many had written off Wigan and consigned them to relegation; 11 points from their last six matches has changed the situation and the Latics are now odds-on to avoid the drop. Roberto Martinez guided his team to victory over Liverpool at Anfield before being robbed of points at Stamford Bridge through poor refereeing decisions. They didn’t let their heads drop, however, and fully deserved their 3 points against United in their last EPL fixture.

Arsenal, for all their defensive injuries, have managed to register 7 home clean sheets this campaign, including their last two in a row, giving them the second best home defensive record in the league. When considering only their home games to teams in and around Wigan in the league table, their clean sheet record rises to five in seven. Wigan have actually scored more away goals than they have at home this season, although in their games against sides in the top five positions they have failed to register in three of their four attempts. It should also be noted that Wigan have failed to score in each of their last six visits to the Emirates.

The last of my football tips is ‘1 team to score only’ @ $1.91 with Sportingbet.

Aston Villa vs Chelsea – EPL Football Tips

Aston Villa are having a poor season and manager Alex McLeish is putting it down to lack of squad depth. Now, while they are lacking depth they chose to spend $27.5+ on one player, Darren Bent, who will miss this game through injury. They will also be missing N’Zogbia, Dunne and Delph are will struggle against Chelsea. They won their last home game, but that was their first home victory since November 5th, having gone seven home games without a win. Chelsea have improved under Di Matteo, but most notably so in the Champions League. They were unlucky not to get a point at the Etihad stadium last week but then lucky to get a point at home to Spurs last weekend. They have lost their last three away games in a row and are without an away win in five games.

Due to Villa’s injury list and how tired they looked in their 3-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend, I actually expect Chelsea to win this one. They are fighting for that fourth place spot and will not want to miss out on Champions League football. I do think, however, that with a lack of attacking options available to Villa boss McLeish they will simply look to make things as difficult as possible for Chelsea. 64.3% of Villa home games have seen under 2.5 goals including four of their last five, while 60% of Chelsea away games have seen under 2.5 goals including four of their last five.

As such, for the first of my football tips I’m tipping under 2.5 goals @ 1.83 with Sportingbet.

Everton vs West Bromwich Albion – EPL Football Tips

Everton have been on a good run since the middle of January suffering only two defeats in 10 games and beating Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham in the process. They will also be buoyed by their midweek triumph over Sunderland in the FA Cup, in which they were excellent and completely outplayed Sunderland. West Brom have been inconsistent of late, losing two of their last three games having previously gone on a run of three straight victories. The 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford was somewhat expected, but the 1-1 draw with Wigan and the convincing manner in which they lost to Newcastle last weekend was not.

It will be a tight game; games at Goodison Park generally are, and so I’m not looking at an outright result in this one. Instead we look to the goals markets and, for me, both teams to score is appealing at the odds on offer. While only 40% of Everton’s home games have seen both sides scores, this figures rises to 80% when considering home games against sides in and around West Brom. 67% of West Brom’s away games have featured goals from both teams, including four of their last five. West Brom have only kept one clean sheet away from home while failing to score against only one side out of the current top 4.

My tip for this game is for both teams to score at $1.75 with Sportingbet.

Manchester City vs Sunderland – EPL Football Tips

Not sure how many more times I can go on about how impressive Manchester City’s home form has been before I bore myself to tears?! That aside, they are four home victories away from keeping a 100% home record for the whole season, beginning this weekend against Sunderland. They have kept a clean sheet in each of their last four home games, with only a deflected Gary Cahill effort beating Joe Hart in the 2-1 victory over Chelsea. Sunderland were abysmal against Everton, but knowing Martin O’Neill they will not be allowed to be that bad again for the remainder of the season. They have just one victory from their last five away games including none from their last three.

Manchester City are highly likely to win this one, we all know that, but by what margin? Many people have been happily backing City -1.5 all year, but I’m tempted to go slightly different for this game and back Sunderland with an Asian Handicap. I fell that they will be hugely improved from their performance against Everton in the FA Cup and will put up a strong fight. Giving Sunderland +2 on an Asian Handicap would give them an away record this season of W13 D1 L1. Now, I know they are playing City which is whole different prospect, but only two of City’s last five games have been won by more than 2 goals and Sunderland have conceded more than twice in only one game all year.

My tip for this game is on an Asian Handicap of Sunderland +2 @ $1.725 with Bet365.

Wigan Athletic vs Stoke City – EPL Football Tips

Wigan have been given about a 28% chance of survival by the bookies, meaning that they need to start picking up points sooner rather than later. A home game with Stoke is an opportunity to do just that, although it should be noted that Wigan have won just one home game all season; a 2-0 victory over QPR back on August 27th. They have, however, lost just one of their last four home games and recently beat Liverpool at Anfield. Stoke City have fairly poor away record, with only 15 points from a possible 45. They have just one victory from their last seven away games and none in their last five, in which they have failed to score in three of them. Stoke’s last away match was at White Hart Lane where they held Spurs to a 1-1 draw.

Both teams have severely struggled for goals this season in their respective hoem and away fixtures; Wigan have managed just 12 home goals all season at an average of 0.8 per game, while Stoke have 10 away goals to their name at an average of 0.67 per game. I guess you can see where I’m going with this?! 67% of Wigan home games have had under 2.5 goals, including each of their last five. Stoke’s record fares slightly better with 53.3% of their away games featuring under 2.5 goals, including four of their last five.

My tip for this game is for there to be under 2.5 goals @ $1.65 with Sportingbet.

Newcastle United vs Liverpool – EPL Football Tips

Newcastle are having a great season, with Alan Pardew making some excellent signings in the transfer market to bolster their attacking options. They sit in 6th position, with only goal difference separating themselves and Chelsea, although it should be noted that the gap in goal difference is significant. Newcastle a dip in form between the middle of February and the middle of March, managing only two points from 12 and suffering a 5-0 thumping at the hands of Spurs and last minute defeat away to Arsenal. Liverpool are having a poor season in the league and have lost their last three away games while winning just one in their last seven.

Over the years this fixture has produced some classics, both at St. James’ Park and Anfield. Demba has been brilliant this season for the Magpies and January signing Papiss Cisse is beginning to settle in, with three goals in his last two games. Liverpool still aren’t seeing a return from Carroll or Suarez, with the Uruguayan managing just 7 league goals from 27 league appearances. 60% of Newcastle’s home games have seen over 2.5 goals this season while Liverpool have seen over 2.5 goals in five of their last six away games. The last five meetings between these two sides at St. James’ Park have seen over 2.5 goals.

As such, the last of my football tips is for there to be over 2.5 goals @ $2.00 with Sportingbet.

Football Tips with Bet With Aus – EPL Week 30

Welcome to the weekly EPL tips blog from Bet With Aus, bringing you free football tips for the EPL.

Week 30 of the English Premier League features what promises to be a cracking game at Stamford Bridge between Chelsea and Tottenham where goals are highly likely! We also take a look at football tips for games including Manchester United vs Fulham, Arsenal vs Aston Villa and Liverpool vs Wigan. As always, do make sure to check up on team selections prior to betting so there are no nasty surprises. Aside from that, please do give us any feedback in the comments section at the bottom. Enjoy the read!

Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur – EPL Football Tips

Chelsea are not the team of old at Stamford Bridge; they have tasted defeat at home three times already this season. It must be said, however, that they have suffered defeat only once in their last eight home games and are unbeaten in four, earning three clean sheets in the process. While Chelsea are improving, Tottenham are heading in the opposite direction and are without an away win in five attempts. During these five games they have managed to score five goals yet have also contrived to concede 10. They have just one away victory in their last seven attempts.

This is a crucial game in the race for Champions league football, with both sides fighting with Arsenal for the 3rd and 4th spots in the EPL table. Over 70% of Chelsea’s home games have seen both sides find the net, while this figure sits at just under 65% for Tottenham’s away games. Matches between the top five sides in the EPL this year have seen both sides score in over 92% of matches. Despite Chelsea’s recent run of home clean sheets, I fully expect Tottenham’s attack to prove too much for David Luiz and Co. to deal with.

Based on this, for the first of my football tips I’ll be tipping Both Sides to Score at $1.62 with Sportingbet.

EPL Football Tips with Bet With Aus

Arsenal vs Aston Villa – EPL Football Tips

After a 4-0 defeat in Milan, Arsenal found themselves 0-2 down after hour an hour at home to arch rivals Spurs and everything looked as bleak as it ever had done for Arsene Wenger’s men. They now find themselves in the midst of a resurgence in belief and are on a run of six straight victories following a 0-1 victory away to Everton in midweek. Aston Villa aren’t having the best of seasons and have won just one of their last four away games – a 2-3 victory over Wolves at the end of January. Look at it another way, though, and they have lost just one of their last eight away games. So, while they are difficult to beat, they find it equally as hard to win.

I’m going to be looking at the half-time result for my tip for this game. Of Arsenal’s 14 home games this season they have been drawing at half-time in 71% of them, including six of their last eight fixtures. Aston Villa have been level at half-time in 57% of their away games this season, including three of their last five. Without Striker Darren Bent the Aston Villa goal threat will be somewhat subdued, so they may choose to ‘park the bus’ and make it difficult for Arsenal. While I can’t guarantee that this tip will come in, the value being offered is too good to turn down.

The next of my football tips is for a Half-Time Draw at $2.64 with Betfair.

Liverpool vs Wigan Athletic – EPL Football Tips

Liverpool recently lost their unbeaten home record in a 1-2 defeat to Arsenal, a game that they really deserved to win but, yet again, goals eluded the Anfield outfit and they were punished by an in-form Robin van Persie. They have managed just five victories from their 14 home games this year, which is just not good enough given the financial outlay. Their last home game ended in a 3-0 Merseyside derby win over Everton, courtesy of a Steven Gerrard hat-trick. Wigan have the joint worst away record in the EPL with three victories from 14 away fixtures, including just one in their last six attempts. They’ve managed just one clean sheet all year away from home which came in a 0-0 with Swansea in the second game of the season.

Now while Liverpool are a far superior side, their failings at home often lead them to draw games, or register only narrow victories. In fact, despite their dominance in home games, they have won just a single home game by more than two goals – a 3-0 victory over Everton. A head start of two goals for the away side would leave Liverpool’s home record reading W1 D4 L9. Wigan are poor away from home, but have only lost two by more than two goals, against Manchester City and Manchester United. With a two goal advantage Wigan’s away record would read W7 D5 L2.

The value on offer here is very good in my opinion, so the next of my football tips is Wigan +2 on an Asian Handicap at $1.60 with Bet365.

Manchester United vs Fulham – EPL Football Tips

Manchester United are slowly taking hold of the EPL title race, as many expected them to do given their experience of being in such a situation many, many times before. They’ve won 11 of their 14 home games this season including their last four in a row, in which they have scored nine and conceded just the solitary goal. They’ve lost just once in nine home fixtures and will be more determined than ever to retain their title. Fulham have the joint worst away record, having won just one of their last nine away fixtures. They are safe from relegation and are likely to qualify for Europe through the Fair Play League, as they did last year, and so have little to actually play for.

Manchester United have amassed the most clean sheets this season of any team in the division, collecting seven from their fourteen home fixtures, including three of the last four. Fulham are far from prolific away from home, failing to score in half of their away games this year. Fulham have failed to find the net in each of their last four EPL visits to Old Trafford, and with little to play for this time around, I believe we will see more of the same.

The next of my football tips is for Manchester United to keep a clean sheet at $1.80 with Bet365.

West Bromwich Albion vs Newcastle United – EPL Football Tips

West Brom are having a rather frustrating season, with their home form undoing much of their good work away from home. They have the 16th worst home record in the division, although it must be said that they have won their last two home games, earning a clean sheet in both a 4-0 win over Sunderland and 1-0 victory over Chelsea. Newcastle are beginning to find things tough, recording just one away victory in their last five attempts, conceding 15 goals at an average of three per game.

West Brom home games don’t see a whole load of goals, although three of their last four home fixtures have seen over 2.5. 57.1% of Newcastle away games have ended in over 2.5 goals, including four of their last five. Newcastle are impressive going forward and have only failed to score in two of their 14 away fixtures. The thinking behind this one is that Newcastle are desperate for three points to keep up their chase for a place in a European competition next season, so they will be looking for goals and, in my opinion, are likely to get them. The Magpies aren’t exactly waterproof at the back, however, and with West Brom finding the net in each of their last four home games I see them doing so again as Newcastle push forward.

The last of my football tips is for there to be over 2.5 goals in this game at $1.88 with Sportingbet.

EPL Football Tips with Bet With Aus

Wigan Athletic vs West Bromwich Albion – EPL Football Tips

Wigan have struggled all season, as they have done for the past couple of seasons, but at home they are abysmal. They have won just one of their 14 home games this year, a 2-0 win over QPR way back in August as they began the season with a three game unbeaten run. They have only lost one of their last three home games but are winless in 12, losing their last match at the DW Stadium 0-2 to newly promoted Swansea City. West Brom, as I always allude to, are very impressive on their travels, and currently have a better away record than Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle. They have lost just one of their last four away fixtures which came in a 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford last weekend.

Wigan are being given a 21% chance of survival by the bookies, which I actually feel is a little generous. They have scored just 11 goals at home all season and have failed to score in three of their last four home matches, while failing to keep a clean sheet in four of their last five. They showed a lot of fight against Norwich last weekend, but against a West Brom side who are pretty good away from home, they may struggle once again. West Brom have lost just two of their eight matches on the road and only one of their seven matches away to sides in the bottom half.

The first of our football tips is a Draw No Bet in favour of West Brom at $1.72 with Sportingbet.

Wovlerhampton Wanderers vs Manchester United – EPL Football Tips

Wolves recently took the step to sack manager Mick McCarthy after a terrible run of results; a run of results that has left them in the relegation zone and odds on to face the drop. They have won just three of their 14 home fixtures this season and have lost their last five in a row, including a 0-2 loss to Blackburn in their last game at Molineux. Manchester United are now back in a familiar position as they leapfrogged Man City last weekend to reach the summit of the Premier League. They have the best away record in the division by a long way, losing just one of their 14 matches. They played quite poorly away to Spurs last weekend but still won 1-3, and that is what winning titles is all about, winning when you play badly.

Surprisingly, since the inception of the Premier League, in the three meetings between these two sides at Molineux Wolves have won twice and United just the once. In fact, it was Wolves who ended United’s 29-game unbeaten run last season! This season that will not happen, Wolves have lost their last five home games in a row, conceding 15 goals in the process. United have won 71.4% of their games on the road, averaging over two goals per game. Wolves have lost their last three home games by at least two goals and are defensively all over the place. A half-decent United performance will put them away without any problem and with Rooney in the form he’s in, this should be a comfortable victory.

The next of our football tips is Manchester United -1.25 @ $1.70 with Bet365.

Aston Villa vs Bolton Wanderers – EPL Football Tips

Fabrice Muamba - Get Well Soon

Due to Fabrice Muamba’s collapse from a heart attack in Bolton’s last match against Tottenham, this match has been cancelled with a new date yet to be scheduled.

We wish Fabrice and his family all the best and hope he makes a speedy recovery, to see such a thing in professional sport just goes to show that it can happen to anyone at any moment!

Twitter - EPL Football Tips

Manchester City vs Chelsea – EPL Football Tips

Arguably the biggest match of this round of EPL fixtures comes at the Etihad season where Man City will be looking to keep pace with leaders Man United and, in the process, protect their 100% record at home. They’ve won all 14 games so far and have conceded just six goals, while scoring 42. Chelsea haven’t been great away from home this season, managing just 17 goals on their way to just five wins from 14 away fixtures. Chelsea lost their last away match 1-0 to West Brom shortly before sacking manager Andre Villas Boas.

Manchester City will need three points here. With Manchester United likely to have grabbed three points at Wolves by the time City kick off against Chelsea, the pressure will be on. Tottenham and Arsenal both run City close at the Etihad earlier in the season but City managed to come out unscathed, so Chelsea will go into this game with some heart. Chelsea have a new manager now, for the time being anyway, and they know that if they want Champions League football next season they have to get something from this game. I see this being a classic, end-to-end game of football, but I cannot pick a winner.

The next of our football tips is for Both Teams to Score at $1.75 with Sportingbet.

Everton vs Arsenal – EPL Football Tips

Everton are, once again, punching above their weight as David Moyes continues to work absolute miracles on a tiny budget. They came unstuck at Anfield midweek to a Steven Gerrard Hat-Trick, but prior to this games they were seven games unbeaten and had one their last three home games in a row, against Man City, Chelsea and, most recently, Tottenham, keeping a clean sheet in all three! Arsenal are on a fantastic run of form, winning their last five in a row and going three away games unbeaten, including victories over Sunderland and Liverpool in their last two away fixtures.

Everton will be looking to bounce back, and having kept three home clean sheets in a row, all against sides in the top five they will be looking for another shut out, and confident of taking points from this one. It should be noted that they haven’t beaten Arsenal at Goodison Park since a 1-0 victory back in March of 2007, with the Gunners winning three of the next four meetings, with both sides finding the net on each occasion. Arsenal have a good record away to everton, but they haven’t kept just one clean sheet in 9 games and face an Everton side who have scored in each of their last seven home games.

The last of our football tips is Both Sides to Score at $1.70 with Sportingbet.

Football Tips with Bet With Aus – EPL – Week 28

Welcome to the weekly EPL tips blog from Bet With Aus bringing you free football tips for the EPL.

Week 28 of the English Premier League features plenty of interesting games, including Arsenal vs Newcastle United and Everton vs Tottenham. We’ll also be looking at the teams fighting at the bottom of the table, such as Wolves vs Blackburn, which is just one of the games included in our selection of football tips for you to take a look at.

EPL Football Tips with Bet With Aus

Everton vs Tottenham Hotspur – EPL Football Tips

Everton’s home form is not the greatest this year after being solid at home for so many years. They have managed to win just five of their 13 home games this season, however, two of these have been against sides in the top five; a 1-0 win over Man City and a 2-0 win over AVB’s Chelsea in their last home fixture. They have lost just one of their last six home games. Tottenham’s away record a first glance is rather good – in fact, it’s the third best in the league and bettered only by the top two sides. Very important to note, however, that this is very much down to their early season away form as they are without an away win in four with their last being a 5-2 defeat to Arsenal.

Everton’s home games do not tend to feature too many goals with over 69% of them containing under 2.5 goals, including six of their last seven. All five of their games against sides in the top half have contained under 2.5 goals as they tend to place a lot of emphasis on defending. Tottenham on the other hand have seen over 69% of their away games contain over 2.5 goals, although when you consider games against sides in the bottom half this figure falls to 40%. We think this will be a close game with around 2.5 goals, but we feel it could be either side of it.

The first of our football tips is for there to be 2 or 3 goals at $1.91 with Sportingbet

Manchester United vs West Bromwich Albion – EPL Football Tips

Manchester United have a great home record this year, winning 10 of their 13 games, including their last three in a row. Their last home fixture ended in a 2-1 victory over Liverpool in a game which United were by far the better team and could have scored several more. Wayne Rooney is imperious form, scoring in each of the last three games he has featured in. West Brom have a decent away record this year; it’s the fourth best in the division, but they have struggled away to sides in the top five, losing 2-1, 3-0 and 1-0 to Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs respectively. They have lost three of their last four visits to Old Trafford, each of them by 2+ goals.

United have scored an average of nearly three goals a game at home and have scored in all 13 fixtures. 69% of their home games have contained over 2.5 goals including five of their last six. I fully expect this to continue against a West Brom side who have kept just one clean sheet away from home all season, a 0-1 win over Norwich back in September. The Baggies have also seen 69% of their away fixtures contain over 2.5 goals, including four of their last six; this figure rises to 74% when you consider their away games to sides in the top 6.

The next of our football tips is for this one to go over 2.5 goals at $1.54 with Sportingbet.

Swansea City vs Manchester City – EPL Football Tips

Swansea City have been praised by many, including myself, for their home form this season, but it is visibly on the slide. It is reminding me of Blackpool last season, although admittedly Swansea did begin the year defensively solid. They have won just one of their last five home fixtures and are creeping closer to the relegation zone. After their 2-3 defeat to Norwich in their last home fixture they really won’t be looking forward to facing Manchester City. City’s away form is quite strong, although they have won just two of their last seven away fixtures, including their last which was a 0-1 win over Aston Villa.

Swansea, as mentioned, appear to be running out of steam just at the wrong time. They kept four clean sheets in their first five home games, but in their last five home games they haven’t kept a single clean sheet and conceded three in their last home games to a Norwich side who, prior to the game, had managed an average of just over a goal a game. Manchester City have conceded just 13 goals away from home this season and are very strong defensively, keeping six clean sheets in their last eight home and away games. In my opinion, City are playing Swansea at the perfect time and will have too much for them on the day.

Our football tip for this one is Manchester City -0.75 at $1.70 with Bet365 who also have a $200 Bonus.

Twitter - EPL Football Tips

Arsenal vs Newcastle United – EPL Football Tips

Arsenal have a decent home record this season winning nine of their 13 games so far, including their last two in a row, with the last fixture resulting in a 5-2 win over North London rivals Spurs. They’ve lost just twice at home all year and only once in their last 12; a 1-2 defeat to the champions, Manchester United. Newcastle’s away record has tailed off rather badly after a great start to the season when they went five away fixtures without defeat. They have won just two of their last eight and have lost three of their last four away fixtures.

Arsenal are impressive at home, but not so much on the defensive side of things, failing to keep a clean sheet in four of their last five games at the Emirates. While they have managed 13 goals in three home games, they have also conceded five which will be, or should be, a concern. While Newcastle haven’t picked up many points on the road in their last eight away fixtures, they have failed to score in only one, their 5-0 defeat to Spurs on February 11th.

Our football tip for this game is over 2.5 goals at $1.60 with Sportingbet.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Blackburn Rovers – EPL Football Tips

Wolves have managed to win just three of their 13 fixtures at Molineux this season; the last of which came in a 2-1 win over Sunderland on December 4th. Since then they have lost five out of six home games, drawing the other 2-2 with Norwich City. Their last game ended in a 1-5 defeat against West Brom in the Black Country derby – a game which sealed the fate of manager Mick McCarthy as he was sacked. Blackburn have the worst away record in the division with just one victory in 13 games – a 2-3 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford! Aside from this they’ve six of their games away from Ewood Park, but were unbeaten in three until their games away to Arsenal and Man City, which saw them score one and concede 10.

Wolves have lost four home games in a row and are now odds on to be relegated. They have conceded at least two goals in each of their last six home games and got hammered 5-0 by Fulham last weekend in a defensive horror show. They have lost 62% of their home games this year and have kept just one clean sheet. Prior to heavy defeats against Arsenal and City, Blackburn had picked up five points from three away games to Everton, Liverpool and Manchester United, so they have the capability to pick up points.

The last of our football tips is Blackburn +0.5 at $1.6 with Sportingbet.

Football Tips with Bet With Aus – EPL – Week 27

Welcome to the weekly EPL tipping blog from Bet With Aus bringing you free football tips for the EPL.

Week 27 of the English Premier League features a number of top games; Arsenal vs Liverpool, Tottenham vs Man United and Newcastle vs Sunderland being the main fixtures. Along with these games, we’ll also be including QPR vs Everton and Man City vs Bolton as part of this week’s selection of football tips for you to take a look at.

EPL Football Tips with Bet With Aus

Liverpool vs Arsenal – EPL Football Tips

Liverpool are unbeaten this season at Anfield and have haven’t conceded more than once in a single home game this season. They have, however, only managed one victory at home in their last four games, a 3-1 win over Newcastle at the end of December. Their other three games have ended in draws against Blackburn, Stoke and, most recently, Tottenham in a 0-0 draw which could have seen either side pinch the points. They face an Arsenal side brimming with confidence after a magnificent comeback at the weekend to hammer arch rivals Spurs 5-2 at the Emirates. Their away form leaves a lot to be desired, with only five wins from 13 games this year, including just one of their last four away fixtures which came in a 1-2 win at the Stadium of Light.

While Liverpool are unbeaten, there is a bigger picture; they have won just four of their 12 home games this season and only once against a side in the top half. They are difficult to beat an Anfield, that is not in question, but they have just the ninth best home record in the league. It should be noted that only QPR, Wigan and West Brom have scored fewer home goals; but only Man City have conceded fewer. This would tend to imply a low scoring game but I’m not convinced as they take on Arsenal, a side who have conceded an average of two goals per game when on the road while failing to score in only three of them. Due to the discrepancy between the sides penchant for goals both home and away respectively, I’m steering clear of the goals market whilst believing that it will be a close game.

The first of our football  tips is, using Asian Handicaps, Arsenal +0.5 at $1.80 with Sportingbet.

Manchester City vs Bolton Wanderers – EPL Football Tips

Manchester City win at home, that we now know. Only Tottenham and Arsenal have come close to taking points from the Etihad Stadium. They’ve won all 13 of their home games, the majority at a canter. They have scored three goals in each of their last five home games while conceding only two, both against Spurs in the 3-2 victory; they have the best defensive and offensive home records in the league. Bolton’s away record is poor, it only gets worse when you look at their games against sides in the top eight positions; they’ve lost all six of these games, conceding 17 and scoring only one. They’ve lost their last three away games in a row 3-0, 2-0, 3-0 although it must be said that two of these games were against Man United and Chelsea.

As we’ve mentioned, many a time, City are exceptional at home, but it’s the margins by which they win their games that is the most impressive aspect of their home form. Eight of their 13 home games have been won by a margin of three or more goals and 11 of 13 by two or more goals. When you look at matches against sides in the bottom half of the table, 86% of games are won by 3+ goals and 100% by 2+ goals. Bolton have lost nine of their 13 away games, all of which by two or more goals and four of which by three or more. What I’m getting at is that the when City win at home it is by distance and when Bolton lose away, particularly against top sides, it is also by some distance.

As such, our football tip for this game is Man City -2.25 @$1.725 with Bet365.

Newcastle United vs Sunderland – EPL Football Tips

Newcastle’s home form has picked up again after a bit of a dip in December, with the Magpies winning three and drawing one of their four home games since the start of 2012. Over these four games they have scored eight and conceded three, two of which were against Wolves in their last home game – a game which finished 2-2 after Newcastle had lead 2-0 at the half-time break. Sunderland’s away form is pretty hit and miss, although it is safe to say it is more ‘miss’ when away to sides in the top half. Of the six games they have played away to top-half teams they have lost five and drawn one; they also lost miserably in their last away game which finished 4-0 to a West Brom side who had managed just 9 goals in their previous 12 home games this season.

Big North-East derby at St. James’ Park (I’m still refusing to call it the Sports Direct Arena!). Newcastle haven’t lost a home league game against Sunderland since November of 2000, winning four and drawing two of the six games since then. Last season they were 3-0 up by half-time and went on to win the game 5-1 with Kevin Nolan, now of West Ham, scoring a hat-trick. In fact, Newcastle have lost just once in the last 14 meetings between the sides, both home and away, so they rightly go into the game as favourites. Form does tend to go out the window in big derby games so I’ll be looking to the goals markets. In four of their last six meetings at St. James’ Park both sides have scored.

Given this, and the sides’ respective percentages for home/away games seeing both sides scoring, I feel that the price at Bet365 of $1.80 is slightly high.

Twitter - Football Tips

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United – EPL Football Tips

Tottenham have been performing very well in the league this year and have not lost in 12 home league games. They have won four of their last five, keeping three clean sheets, including one in their last home fixture which ended in a brilliant 5-0 victory over a strong Newcastle United side. They will be missing Scott Parker for this game after he was sent off in their humiliating 5-2 thrashing against Arsenal at the weekend; Sandro will be the likely replacement. Manchester United have the strongest away form in the league, losing just one away game all year – a 3-0 defeat to Newcastle at the start of 2012. That result was an anomaly as United have won seven of their last nine away games including a 2-1 victory over Norwich in their last away fixture which saw Scholes and Giggs get the United goals – incredible players.

Again, the big matches can throw up some surprises regarding the result but the goals market is often more in line with what the statistics suggest. Tottenham have scored in every single home game this season; United have scored in 12 of their 13 away games this season. The attacking talent in these two sides is exceptional so I think, and the odds suggest the bookies agree, that both sides scoring is almost a given. But I don’t think the scoring will end at one a piece; 53.8% of both Spurs’ home games and United’s away games have contained over 2.5 goals; when you consider the home and away games for these two sides against teams in the current top four, the stats in favour of more than 2.5 goals increase dramatically. 5/5 of Tottenham games against top four sides and 4/4 of United games against top four have over 2.5 goals. In fact, these nine games have averaged over five goals per game.

Our football tip for this game is over 2.5 goals at a generous $1.80 with Sportingbet.

Queens Park Rangers vs Everton – EPL Football Tips

QPR have had a poor season considering their investment. They have the third worst home record in the division, winning just two of their 13 home fixtures. They lost just one of their first five home games this season, but then went on to lose six of their next eight. They’ve lost their last two home games on the bounce following their 3-1 win over a poor Wigan side and have fared little better since Mark Hughes took over. Everton’s away record this year is average, very average, but in recent months they have improved it greatly. They’ve lost just one of their last five away games – a 2-0 loss to Spurs. The other four games have resulted in one victory and three draws, the most recent of which came in the 1-1 draw at Wigan.

QPR have lost seven of their 13 home games this season, including five of the last six. Everton have lost five of their 12 away fixtures this term, but it should be noted that all five of these were against sides currently in the top six. Outside of those top teams Everton have not lost in seven, winning four and drawing three; they are also unbeaten in their last five fixtures home and away. I can’t see QPR winning this game but that it isn’t to say I see them losing it. Everton are a hard side to beat but they are also not finding it too easy to win games on the road, although as we’ve mentioned, against sides in the bottom half they fare much better.

Our football tip for this one is Everton on a Draw No Bet at $1.63 with Sportingbet.

EPL Football Tips with Bet With Aus – 23 Feb 2012

Welcome to the weekly EPL tipping blog from Bet With Aus bringing you free football tips for the EPL.

Week 26 of the English Premier League features a North London derby that invariably means plenty of goals. And, as if Arsenal fans didn’t dislike Adebayor enough already, he returns to the Emirates with their arch rivals. Arsenal vs Tottenham is just one of the games included in our selection of football tips for you to take a look at.

Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspur – Football Tips

Arsenal’s home record this season isn’t too bad at all, but they have struggled when playing the top sides, losing 0-2 to Liverpool and, more recently, 1-2 against United. They have lost just once at home in their last 11 games, winning 7-1 against a poor Blackburn side in their last fixture at the Emirates. Tottenham have the third best away record in the league and come to the Emirates having demolished Newcastle 5-0 at White Hart Lane in their last EPL fixture. They have, however, only managed to win one of their last five away league games and struggled to a 0-0 draw with Stevenage in the FA Cup at the weekend.

Despite scoring an average of two goals per game at the Emirates this season, albeit helped by the 7-1 victory over Blackburn, only 50% of Arsenal’s home games have seen over 2.5 goals, although their last two home fixtures have seen this occur. In fact, five of their last six games home and away have contained 3 or more goals, highlighting their attacking threat and defensive frailties simultaneously. Tottenham have seen 66.7% of their away games feature over 2.5 goals, including all three of their games away to sides in the top 6. Past meetings between the sides at the Emirates have seen plenty of goals, with their last seven games averaging 4 goals per game, with six of them containing over 2.5 goals.

The first of our football tips is Over 2.5 Goals at $1.74 with Sportingbet.

Manchester City vs Blackburn Rovers – Football Tips

Everyone knows that Man City are awesome at home, winning all 12 of their games, scoring 37 and conceding just six. Only Tottenham came close to beating them, while Arsenal deserved a point from their fixture at the Etihad. Not sure what else to say, they are brilliant at home, they’ve scored three goals in each of their last four home games and conceded two, both against Spurs. Blackburn, on the other hand, have the third worst away record in the league, conceding 30 goals in their 12 away fixtures and managing just one victory, strangely against Manchester United. It was an anomaly, it will not happen in this game; I actually think another 7-1 is more likely!

As we’ve mentioned, goals are free flowing for City when at home, only Arsenal and Everton have prevented them from scoring three or more. Their home games have seen over 2.5 goals in 83.3% of games, including eight of the last nine. They face a Blackburn side who concede an average of 2.5 goals away from home and have not kept a clean sheet all season. Away to sides in the top six, Rovers have conceded an average of 4 goals per game. Manchester City will win this, of that I have little doubt, but there is no value there. Instead, as I’m sure you’ve guessed by now, we look to the goals market.

Our tip for this game is over 3.5 goals at $1.95 with Sportingbet which I feel represents great value.

QPR vs Fulham – Football Tips

QPR have been poor at this home season, so far managing only 10 points from the 36 available. They have beaten Chelsea at Loftus Road this season, but have managed just one other victory all season. Their current run of form reads badly, one win from seven games, five of which ended in defeat. Fulham have the worst away record in the division, winning just one game all year – a 0-2 win over Wigan back at the end of October. Aside from this victory they’ve registered five draws and six defeats, collecting just four points from their last seven games.

QPR home games tend to mean both sides will score; 66% of their home games this year have resulted with both teams finding the net, including each of their last four home games. And in each of these last four home games there has been over 2.5 goals, despite only 50% of their home games resulting in over 2.5 goals this year. We’re seeing a reversal in the trend. Fulham don’t tend to score too many goals away from home, actually no side in the division has scored less away goals than the seven that Fulham have managed. However, it should be noted that three of these seven goals have come in their last four away games. With Dempsey on form, and new signing Pogrebnyak getting on the scoresheet in his first game last weekend – in a game where Fulham could have scored six – I see the West Londoners finding the net here against a porous QPR defense.

Norwich City vs Manchester United – Football Tips

Norwich have been excellent this year, they’ve battled hard whilst also playing some impressive counter-attacking football. Their home form has been strong, losing just three times, to Arsenal, Tottenham and West Brom, who actually have the 4th best away record in the division. They have lost just once in their last six home games. Manchester United have the best away record in the league, picking up 27 of the 36 points available having lost just once on their travels all season. They have won six of their last eight, with their last away game featuring an awesome comeback at Stamford Bridge to draw 3-3.

Norwich, as mentioned, have a strong home record but they have struggled to keep clean sheets. Of the 12 teams to visit Carrow Road, only Chelsea and Bolton have failed to score. When you consider their four home games against sides in the top 6, they have conceded twice on three occasions. Manchester United have scored two or more goals in four of their last five away games, including games away to Arsenal and Chelsea. Having seen them in clinical form away to Ajax recently, and with Rooney in the form he’s in, I can see them scoring more than once here.

Our tip for this one is Manchester United to score over 1.5 goals @ 1.53 with Bet365

West Bromwich Albion vs Sunderland – Football Tips

West Brom have a terrible home record, it’s the joint worst in the division and has seen them pick up eight points from 12 games, scoring just nine goals in the process – no side has scored fewer. Sunderland are very much a side on the up, winning three of their last four matches on the road and scoring eight goals – just one less than West Brom have managed all season at home.

West Brom, following their 1-5 demolition of Wolves, will be looking to this game as the one where they turn around their home form. They haven’t won in six homes games, however, and may return to old ways. Their only two victories at The Hawthorns have come against Bolton and Wolves, both of whom occupy relegation places. Sunderland’s away form is not fantastic but improves when you consider games against sides in the bottom half. It is difficult to apply their away form this season to this game, as since Martin O’Neill has taken over they are a different side altogether and I fully expect them to get at least a point from this game.

The last of our footbball tips is Sunderland on a Draw No Bet at $2.05 with Sportingbet.
