    Cove Football Club History

The Cove Football Club was founded in 1984 when a small group, with great foresight decided to create a football club for the Hallett Cove area. The club was created despite having to be planned around an oval that did not exist as the Cove Sporting Complex was still in the very early planning stages. However, despite this hurdle, the Cove Football Club was created and continues to be an important part of the SFL competition. The Cove Football Club now has over 500 members and is continuing to grow year on year.
